Last week marked a major milestone for the Mac4Me project with the release of our inaugural biannual newsletter. Mac4Me is a European Doctoral Network spanning over 11 countries, featuring 18 Doctoral Candidates (DCs) as the driving force behind our multidisciplinary research.

The goal of Mac4Me is to discover new therapies for metastatic neuroblastoma, prostate, and breast cancer. To achieve this, we study the interactions between macrophages (immune system cells) and cancer cells within the most frequent sites of metastasis: the lungs, liver, and bones.

In this first edition, we highlight our candidates’ progress and the early stages of their training, along with key events attended by the consortium.
